Abstract: | The MFM is a deliverance ministry par ecellence. Over the years, the ministry has continued to call attention to the Africam worldview of evil. To validate the reality of evil in the minds of people, the MFM has mediatised the concept of evil through the several drawings showing the 'faces' of evil on the books and magazines published by the ministry. 'This study which is grounded in qualitative research method employs historical survey, participant observation and review of relevant literature to reflect on the dynamics of the print media in the MFM. The findings indicate that the 'faces' of evil are in all the deliverance books written by Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of MFM, and other publications of the group divulge among other things, that the print-media depictions of evil in the minds of her members. This key eature significantly backs up in popularising the MFM as a warfare ministry well-informed of Satan's antics and possessing the 'methodology' of dealing with the malevolence. |
