dc.description.abstractThe confirmation of Covid-19 in Nigeria is not unexpected given the global spread of the disease that originated from China. With an estimated 200 million people and an infectious disease vulnerability index of 0.27, a poorly managed case of Covid-19 may worsen the global pandemic. Hence, we examined the peculiarities of Nigeria as a nation and suggested ways of curtailing further spread of the disease in the country.en_US
