This paper is a reflection on the response of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) to African Cosmology of evil.It is the argument of this paper that a major feature which continues to give credence and prominence to the MFM is her array of deliverance prayers which is largely a religio-cúltural response to the African worldview of evil.Since her founding in 1989, the MFM has continued to attract large audiences, not only at the monthly “Power Must Change Hands” programme at the Prayer City of the group, but also in several of their Churches. Based on participant observations, interactions and interviews with some of the leaders and members, it is obvious that African Cosmology, and in particular Yoruba cosmology on evil coupled with the claims of divine inspiration by the leadership, have largely structured the group's spiritual response to the African worldview of evil.en_US
